Before his current role, Robert worked in several health care settings and completed years of education and training. He attended the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio, for his undergraduate degree before working for eight years in an intensive care unit. He then continued his education at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, with a nurse anesthesia residency. In his residency, he worked with multiple military health care facilities as well as Baltimore Shock Trauma in Baltimore, Maryland.
Throughout Robert’s career, he has provided both anesthesia education and care. That includes a decade of experience at the Veterans Administration in San Diego, California, where he cared for people with PTSD, depression, and chronic pain. In his current position, he provides and supervises treatment with ketamine infusions, lidocaine infusions, and IV therapy with nutrients.
Robert lives with his wife and their Welsh terrier. The family enjoys their time outdoors including long walks and mountain bike rides.
